Water use- Conservation of our water resources- is of the highest priority to our city. Scott will lead efforts to reduce the consumption of water in all areas. Eliminating the use of water gulping St. Augustine grass in our landscaping codes will be pursued. Encouraging the capturing and retention of rainwater on site will be done. Scott will lead the community dialogue about how we need to dramatically reduce our use of water in St.Petersburg.

Eric, I will implement CR within 6 months of becoming Mayor. It will not cost anything to our citizens and may even allow a rate reduction for trash p/u. Email your phone # to me at info@scottwagman.com and I'll call you with details. Too much to say in this limited space. Thanks

Scott - I'm vacillating on which side of the curbside recycling issue to embrace. Why do you support it and why does Mayor Baker have it wrong? Will your plan include a reduction of weekly non-recycling collections? And a fee reduction assuming the county pays for curbside? Have you considered increasing the number of collection sites around town to make it easier for folks to incorporate recycling in their normal weekly routines (ie shopping centers, churches, etc)? Thanks, Eric

Can you please take a look at the use of pesticides and herbicides in our schools and around playgrounds! Just google bifenthrin, organophosphates, naled, coppersulfate! Also please go to beyond pesticides web for useful info! Also, an initiative to take into account the synergystic and cumulative effects of pesticides/herbicides ON CHILDREN would be a step in the right direction!
